Question about S&W Model 19

We came across a Smith and Wesson model 19 that was chambered in 38 special. Has anyone ever seen one, or know the approx. value? We have confirmed through measurement that it is an actual 19 frame. Thank you, Kris

  The model 19 is a K frame. S&W also made K frame 38 specials, I'm thinking it was a model 14, but don't quote me on that part.

  19-3 w/2" barrel (no shroud) per Std Catalog of S&W -- confirm bbl length and serial #.

  The S & W Book notes ( 2 ) different version of the Model 19, chambered in 38 Special.
  
  The later version dates to the late 90's just prior to the discontinuance of the M 19. They were made in both 2 1/2" & 4" barrel lengths.
