What are they worth
Have two guns sitting around and need to know a value for them. Going overseas with military and don't want to store them. First is .357 S&W model 60 2 inch barrel. Maybe 50 rounds fired. Wife just never had any interest. Second is Kimber Ultra Carry .45. It is not one of there new models. I bought this gun used 4 years ago. What are they worth? Thanks

Model 100 winchester rifle 308 cal bought in 1969 and fired less than 20 times,also model 15 Smith and Wesson combat masterpiece purchased 1967.Both guns are in excellent condition.thank youJohn 0 -

From my book and looking at a few on GB auctions, I'd say the S & W
Model 60 is worth $400.00 and the Kimber UC .45 $400. 00 to $450.00.
That is if the S & W is in excellent condition, as you say, and the Kimber has been well cared for. It's nearly impossible to nail down the value on a gun you can't see, but I hope this gives you a starting place.

Second is Kimber Ultra Carry .45.
Is it a series one or series two?, I would go 400.00 as well on the model 60, but the kimber could very well jump in value if it is a series one, you will know because series one does not have a designation number, it will simply say KIMBER, series ll well you guessed it ,it will say KIMBER ll, the series one is much more sought after with true collectors, however 450.00 is way to cheap for ether model0 -
