AK 47 style Mount

I recently bought a Romanian AK style scope meant to be attached to Romanian AK style guns with the scope mount, or so I was sold.

I am unable to attach it and it doesn't look to be the right fit for the mount.

Does anyone have a picture of one that is attached?

  I take it you have a romanian ak?
  
  You need to open the release lever so it swings out 90* from the base, and slide the mount on from back to the front. Then snap the realease closed forward. This will only work if you have the side mounting base.
  
  I have this mount on My Romanian.

  there is a adjustment plate on the bottom of the mount, so you can widen or tighten the mount to the rail. not all of those rails are the same width.

  Thanks for the help. I have it on now, I got it to slide from the rear forward and it was about 90% of the way there but was very tight. A couple wacks from the old rubber persuader and I got it to line up correctly.
  
  It seems like a nice enough scope, but with a collapsable stock it is hard to hold a good picture for long, it is a 100 yard gun anyways, 200 with some spray and pray.
  
  Does anyone know what the adjustment on the front of the scope is? It pulls in and out, I imagine that is for focus?
