S&Wshotgun barrel exchange 1000 to 3000

Can a S&W model 1000 barrel be used on a S&W model 3000 pump? I heard they were interchangeable, but not many people have these so thot i'd better check with the experts. thanks

  S&W 1000 Auto...no....S&W 1000P pump ...yes...1000P and the 3000 are basically the same gun.....Mossberg 3000 is the same gun too.
