Tell me about this shotgun

I cant remember the name of it but I think it is a High Standard. They have not been made in a while but it is a semi auto bullpup. It has a pistol grip in the middle and a handle up top. They came in 2 models one had a flash light mounted in it and the other was plain. I was wondering if anyone has one and what they think of it. I am looking at it more as something cool to have vs for defense. Also what are the going prices? I did a search on GB and could not find one. Any help would be great.

    It was made for police use. I had a friend who owned one and it was "interesting"...to me...nothing more. I believe it falls under NFA weapons because of barrel length.

    There the Models 10A & 10B. They date to the 60's & 70's.

    Havn't seen any for sale in years. B B has them listed as being between $500 & $800. I think that's wishful thinking.

    So I am correct that they are a high standard? Does anyone know how well they function? There is one for sale localy that they want $875 for but I dont think I am willing to pay that much for it, it is the non flashlight model. I would like to know more about it though.

    I think the shotgun you are referring to is a Mossberg Bullpup. They were made by Mossberg under 2 names, Mossberg and Maverick. I have seen 2 for sale this year locally. Both sold for around $350-$375, though I have seen asking prices in The $500 range. Not a very practical weapon, short but bulky and seemed heavy to me. More a curiousity than anything else in my opinion. Still, I might buy one someday if I can find one for $250 or less at a pawn shop.

    These are definitely High Standard guns. I remember looking at them when they were new. I thought they were interesting, but I shoot left handed and there was no way I could shoot them.

    Definatley the High standard. My buddy has a Mossburg bull pup and I dont like it. I dont like the verticle grip on pump shotguns. So now the big question that has not been answered is how well do they function? Thanks for all the input so far.

    Honestly I have only seen them at shops and shows, never shot one, but high standard has always been a top gun maker in my opinion, and if you didn't know that buttstock on the back swivels, kinda odd
