45/70 barrel maker

I have bought an action barrel combo, that is the 1873 trapdoor on C T Scheibler barrel. My question is WHO is C T Scheibler. The only other marks on the barrel are a 5 after his name and on the next flat over is a proof mark with 64 after that and of course 45/70.Its octagon and about 33 inches long.I am building a custom gun for buffalo hunting this fall in Montana and would like to get ahold of the barrel maker if possible. Yes I know that Scheibler is german for barrel maker....=}
