  You can find the value of common guns by going to the Gunbroker home page & clicking on the Smart Search link. Look at completed auctions for the last 90 days for similar guns. Only pay attention to prices actually bid, not asking prices.

  To get a value you are gonna need to be a lot more detailed. There are Colt SP1's out there that are beaters and might bring, say $500, or it could be a pristine three-prong unfired in box and bring, say, $2000.

  If its say's "Colt" your going to pay a premium of at least $500 up to $1000, over any other brand of AR15.
  As "Colt" no longer makes AR15's for the public at large.
  But you can buy a new "LEO only Colt", but expect to pay through the nose for it.
  Save your $, buy a Bushmaster

  You got the rifle or the carbine. Me, I've got an sp1 carbine. Absolutely love the thing. Found them on GB from 1500 to 2000 bucks.
