Colt Officers Model 38
I have a Officers Model 38 2nd issue last patent date on barrel is july 4, 05
My question is on the left side of barrel before and after where it is stamped Officer Model 38 there appears to be British Army markings.
I have looked thru several books but can not find anything.
Would appreciate any info on these markings

What is the designated frame size of the Officers Model .38 heavy barreled revolver?
I believe it is an "I" frame, but I am not sure.

o/m is built on the e-frame, i frame is the improved, modernised frame of the python,some parts will interchange. 0
