Choke on Ithaca (SKB) 500 O/U 12 Gauge?

Is there a way to determine the barrel chokes on an Ithaca 500 (SKB) by visual inspection? There doesn't appear to be anything noted on the barrels as I find on some other shotguns. I believe if I had the right gunsmith choke measuring tool, that I could make that determination, but I don't have one!

  Remove the forearm, take off the barrel and look at the right side hinge point on the barrels. the chokes will be marked (mod imp) or (ful mod). otherwise drop a dime down the top barrel and if it stops its full and modified. if it doesnt its proboly mod imp.
