38 Casull, 2000 fps?

The Casull Firearms site claims 2000 fps for a 95 gr fmj from a 6" barrel. That sounds awfully fast, but Double Tap ammo claims the same for a 9x25 Dillon, and the Dillon is a smaller case. So maybe such speeds can really be had with a pistol. Sure makes the "high velocity" 357 sig, and its 1400 fps look a bit peaked.

  If you think those are impressive numbers, consider the fact that the Freedom Arms 454 Casull launches a 240 grain bullet @ 2000 fps[:0][^][:D]

  Hey Bert....re 'Single Shot'
  I like hot handguns and all....but in 454 I lean towards a single shot myself.
