Daewoo .40 pistol conv to 9mm ??

Wiil a Daewoo .40 caliber complete upper fit onto a DH51 (9mm) frame and function ??

I recently picked up a mint-condition, "DAEWOO DH40" (.40) complete upper slide assembly and one 11rd. factory magazine at a gunshow for approx. $ 150.00

Thinking of picking up a "DH51" (9mm) and then having both calibers - I hope !!

    I do NOT have a DH51 -- I have the DH40.

    I do not have any idea as to wether or not the frames were the same.
    The magazine opening in my DH40 is 1.27 inches long by .86 inches wide.
    If the opening in the DH51 frame is the same then maybe it would work. If they are not the same then no soap.

    I'm almost positive that the 9mm and the 40cal are slightly different frames. They look almost identical, but I believe their mag wells and grips are not the same. I don't have a 40 cal model to check against the 9mm, but I have the mags for both and can check their deminsions. I would swear that I found the 40cal mags were slightly bigger several years ago when I first got the 40 cal models in many years ago. I started selling the 9mm guns in the early 1990's. The 40 cal models weren't available until many years later. I would need to measure the 2 and confirm all of this, but I'm pretty sure they won't interchange. The slides might, but the 9mm mags won't fit (and stay in) the 40 cal frames.
