    I guess I just answered my own question.
    I did a search on the auction and came up with a Model 29 and a Model 30,that were made by High Standard.The only difference I can "see" is that this Model 31 doesn't have the retractable sling.

    Sweet shooter!

    And I really like the way the stock is made.[^]

    Bobby, my first rifle was a model 30. It still shoots better than I do. It does not have a retractable sling.

    It was made by HS. I have 31 and it is a pleasure to handle and shoot. The wood looks as nice or nicer than any of the Wins that I have. I always get a kick out of showing it to someone who is unfamiliar with them. Usually the comment is something like, "It just feels good".
