Iver Johnson 12 g shotgun

I am trying to find the age of an old Iver Johnson Champion 12 g shotgun. The serial number appears to be 19361A. Does anyone know how I might find this info. Merci Beaucoup LSUCAJUNLADY

  jbraud,
  my serial number data on iver johnson champion single barrel shotguns is incomplete so i can't give you an exact date. i have found that champions with a single letter suffix will generally date from the late 1930s to early 1940s.
