Mosin Nagant M44 question

I am wondering how much my 1952 M44 is worth. Ican't say it is from a certain country, because it's a "mutt" so to speak. The Barrel, and Magazine are Polish, with both numbers matching. The stock and buttplate are both Hungarian. I have no idea what year the stock was made. The wood is in good condition, with a few nicks, dings, so on. No huge cuts or cracks. Click on my signature to see a picture of it, at the bottom of the page.Oh, and by the way, the cleaning rod is missing, and the bayonet is sitting in my room, detached but complete.

    Various models,i.e. 91-30, 38 & 44 Mosin Nagants are being imported by the container load. They are being sold very inexpensively by chain Sportings Goods Stores and Mil Surp dealers. I've seen arsenal refurbished, excellent condition M 44's being sold for under $ 70.

    Given the above, the prospect of selling your M 44 for big bucks is remote.

    OK, thanks, im just wondering how much i could get for it. Not planning to make much off of it. Iknew the absolute max i could get for it was $100.

    I missed out at the last machine gun shoot. They had M44s, matching numbers in good condition for $39. Passed the first day, they had hundreds of them. Went back the second day to get a few, they were gone.

    $39 is a smoking deal for a matching number gun.

    You can get refurbed (mixmatched numbers) ones complete for around $50, matching in VG+ condition about $100.

    $100 is about the top though unless you get into the Russian ones, a Russian Tula made in 1943 would call the biggest bucks, mayby $250 if excellent and matching original due to its rarity.

    hello, i don't want to bust anyones nads, but tula did not make an m44 in 1943. tula m44's were only produced in 1944. izhevsk made m44's in 1943 ( about 50,000 ). i bought my last 44 tula 44 for 159.00. mn76254r
