Hi-Standard Magazine (with picture)Really this tim

Would someone please appraise this Hi-Standard magazine for me. It is 95% in the box. Follower and lips are great and show little evidence of use. Spring is strong. I checked in GB auctions and found magazine but it was not a factory mag. Thanks
Box is labeled High Standard Hamden, Conn. Model is 3038M.

    Hello if it is in the box and has a red plastic base I would say between $50.00 and $75.00 The evil auction site has them all the time.

    Thanks for the info. Perry shooter. No it is a full metal magazine the only plastic is the follower and it is white. Sure wish I could get pictures on!!!

    ok, it sounds to me like you have a typical hi std mag in a box.
    is the box maroon in color? does it have an eagle on it?
    on the bottom of the mag, does it say...'HI STANDARD'? is the bottom of the mag metal?
    next...the follower being white is ok. thats fine. some did for a short time in the 60's. sounds to me like you have a common hi standard mag.
    the box makes it a collectible.
    id say 'in box', 50.00 is safe bet.

    Thanks for reply Bobski. I posted pictures but maybe they are not downloading for you. Picture on left is of Mag. and box and yes the box has an eagle on it. Picture on the right shows end of box (label is coming off) and end of mag. marked Hi-Standard and bottom of mag. is metal. Please try again to see pictures and repost. Let me know if pictures did not load so I can try again to figure out what I am not doing right !!

    ok, i tried a different computer and i see the mag now. note the loading button and how small it is? that style mag button is designed for early slant grips but as it says it will work in the newer supermatics. 50.00 to 75.00 is a good price.

    That appears to be the one from that AUCTION site we can't mentoin.Saw it but have six now.Nice piece if you need one.Did you know that Ruger started out using the High Ftandard magazines with a different bottom on them??SURE NUFF.. modoc

    I've had this mag for years, didn't recently buy it and it didn't come from that other auction site. Do you recall how much it sold for? Just trying to get a value if I do sell it. Thanks for the info, and did not know that early rugers used them with a different base! Thanks Modoc
