Remington Titanium

I am looking to buy a remington titanium in .260 but was wandering how good of a gun it is when compared to a sako 75 or kimber 8400? Is the remington worth the money when you can get the sako and kimber for about the same price? Thanks

    for rigidity, the rem titanium stock beats the others hands down IMHO.

    why chase the game when the bullet can get em from here?....

    no,..it's a high grade of fiberglass, epoxy, carbon fiber, etc.

    How accurate is the Rem TI compared to the sako and kimber and is the bolt as smooth as a sako?

    sako bolts are very smooth,..but don't mistake that feel for accuracy. The bolt throw, once it comes out of battery, means NOTHING. Yes the lug rails may be smoother, and the bolt may not have as much "travel" or "slop" in it when unlocked from battery,..but that is the non-operational phase of the rifle. The lug lock-up, bore concentricity, trigger break, etc all make the accuracy. Sako makes a fine peice of equipment,..very nice. The rem700 is the go-to action for custom builds and therefore has a huge advantage as far as aftermarket parts and gunsmith as well as hobbyist support.

    If you just want to take it from the box and use it,...then the Sako may make you feel better about your choice due to it's smoothly machined tolerances.

    why chase the game when the bullet can get em from here?....
