AR-15 Questions, disassembly and value

When separating the upper from the lower, you first remove the rear hinge pin, which just slides to the right. What about the hinge pin up front by the mag well, there appears to be a spring keeping pressure against the pin, when I pull that pin out of there to separate the two halves, will that spring go flying across the room?

Any idea what I could ask for a complete lower receiver, new, Bushmaster, with pre-ban style telescoping stock?

    The front pin works exactly the same as the rear one. Nothing will fly out. Price wise, new ones are going for about $265 locally. I would think $225-275 would be a good starting point.

    Ar15 . com it's a tutorial on assembeling an lower for a AR.

    Look at step 3. The front piviot pin. This will explain why the pin is not supposed to come all the way out. Leave the front pin intact with the lower reciever.
