Browning B2000 What's it worth?

I have a B2000 12ga that is still new in the box. It was manufactured in 1975 according to the serial number. This gun has never been fired and I was wanting to know how much it was worth.

    Good morning Shalako: It would help if we knew if it was a Standard,Magnum,Skeet,Trap, Buck special, or the rarer Canadian Olympics version. Also barrel length and choke, since these had a fixed choke. Most are going to have a range of about $375-$500 except the Olympic version. Regards Dave

    Dave it appears to be a Standard. How do I determine what type choke it has?

    Browning laid an egg with the 2000 series shotgun....malfunction problems eventually led to it being pulled from the product line. There may be some collectibility seeing as it's NIB.

    Hello shalako: There should be a label on the end of the box telling you the barrel length and choke. Also look on the barrel itself, you may see the choke, (full, Mod. Imp/Cyl etc) stamped on the barrel or something like this:
    * or ** or *** I belive that would translate to the choke designation, but I'm not real sure about that. I haven't seen a B2000 in about 12 plus years!

    Dave, Sorry about the mistake. The barrel length is 30" and it's a full choke.

    I also have a Belgium Browning B2000 with 2 barrels. One is modified and the other is improved cylinder. Both are 28" I love to shoot this gun and use it regularly for sporting clays. It is a pain to clean all of the parts in the gas chamber though. I was also curious as to the value of the gun and barrels. I believe mine is a standard, but how do you tell the difference between the others that were listed?

    THIS TO REMBRANDT REGUARDING THE EGG. (1) YOU EITHER KNOW NOTHING ABOUT THE B2000 OR (2) YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW TO CLEAN IT. I SAY THIS BECAUSE PROPERLY CARED FOR THIS GUN NOT ONLY SHOULDERS GREAT IT IS REAL JOY TO SHOT. I HAVE A 1976 3" MAGNUM THAT I STILL CARRY TO THE DUCK BLIND 25-30 DAYS A YEAR AND IT PERFORMS AS WELL AS MY BUDDIES SUPER BLACK EAGLES AND 11-87's.
