New Hornady 12 g Sabot Info

A friend was telling me about a new sabot by Hornady that was capable of shooting 200 yards fairly flat. He said dead on at 100 yards would give a hit about 6" low at 200 yards and about 2" high at 50 yards. I looked on the Hornady web site and didn't find anything on it. Does anyone know anything about it? I actually trust this guy and don't think he is yanking my chain.

    I dont know about the new slug,
    But I think you would need a good
    rifled barrel and glass to get good groups
    out to 200 yards.Not very many guns
    could do that
    Sound like hipe too me[:D]
    6" low at 200 is awesome I would love
    to get that kind of drop not the
    18-20 inch that is more realistic
    I dont shoot that far,am just guesstimating[;)]

    I know that my friend said that it was with a 300 grain bullet. In my opinion, that would be an awful light slug to be shooting out to 200 yards. I would be VERY reluctant to shot that distance but I like the sounds of the ballistics at closer range. I have been looking on the net some more but still havn't found anything on it.

    Check this sight out. I have been looking to buy some of these but cannot find them anywhere. I even called Hornady directly and they do not sell to individuals. The shells are selling like hot cakes and are backordered to March in most places.

    Hey Slash a guy I know had shot them and the groups were very small @100 yards 5 shots cover them with a pop can
    1 shot is all ya get so make it a " SUREKILL " (T/C Encore-/-Contender/ MATHEWS SWITCHBACK Shooter)
