Wildcat ?

SP45
Has anyone heard of a 357 necked down to a 32 cal in a revolver. I am familiar with the 45/357, 257 win mag, 22 jet and various others but never the 32 cal.

    I show nothing in my books of a documented .32-.357, though you can probably rest assured that it has been done.

    BTW, the wildcats you speak of are the .38 Casull (.45/.357) which actually fires a .355" bullet, and the .22 Remington Jet and .256 Winchester are not wildcats, but obsolete production cartridges.

    Fact is, bottleneck cartridges do not fare well in revolvers because when they expand, they push rearward and bind the cylinder.

    Currently, the only bottleneck .32 cal. cartridge is the .32 NAA, which is a .380 ACP case.

    Save the seals-club a liberal instead.
