Ruger pistol value

My brother has a ruger double action stainless .44 mag with a 7-1/2 inch barrel. (Red Hawk?) It has a simmons red dot scope with full length mount. He wants to sell it to fund a divorce.

What is it worth?

  $300 in excellent condition.

  300 would be about what he would get selling it to a dealer or if he's in a hurry , if he has a little time and can sell in on auction or local private sale he should get closer to 400 for it
