Questions about DSA C.R.O.S. Upper half
Howdy..
I have a few questions about the DSARMS GTC Upper Half with "C.R.O.S." this is alleged to be an innovation in gas operating system function of the AR type rifle Gas System.
My questions are these:
1.) Is the Upper Forged..the DSA add does NOT say specifically..I have learned to be wary of any company that avoids "copy" in advertising..copy specifically in this case stating that the Upper..in this case...GTC with C.R.O.S. is a Forged piece..as with most Uppers and the Lower they sell..which they DO state is forged..
2.) Because the Upper DSA offers comes "Barelled" only...or at least that is allI have seen available...it is expensive...so my question is..does this expensiv Upper..ACCOMODATE..other RAIL SYSTEMS..specifically the A.R.M.S S.I.R. products...(if so would anybody happen to know which number ARMS rail??? Bi-level etc..)
3.) Does the DSArms GTC upper FIT well (low "SLOP" threshold) with other Lowers..and would this influance the operation of the improvements to the UPPER..and which LOWER would you reccomend (RRA, DPMS, OLY, CUSTOM (AKA black diamond) etc..)
I have more but these are the critical ones...Also for what it's worth..I HAVE tried a few times already..to get these questions answered by DSA..I have been polite and to the point..I don't know what i am doing wrong..makes me a little suspicious..I have not done business with DSA yet...and this..well..can't get a question answered...oh yeah..ONE more...

I don't see you getting alot of answers on this one here as the DSA gun hasn't been on the market very long. I myself have only seen one AR with a piston operated upper and that was an Olympic.
I would recommend you try www. AR15.com as there is more of a chance of someone there of actually owning one of these.
