Winchester 88 trade

I'm thinking of parting with an 88 Winchester that I have that is still in the original box for a 673 Remington Guide rifle of the same caliber. (.308 Win.). Would that be a reasonable trade or not? I've looked at the 673, and I like it, but don't really know how good a rifle it is. Does anybody have any opinions on this?

    No way would I make such a trade. The 88 is a classic, and can only appreciate in value. The 673 is UGLY, and will have a very limited appeal. JMHO.

    Im with Nunn. Your Winchester 88 is a collectors piece much more valuable in the condition you describe than the 673.

    You should be proud to show your friends your 88. you'll have to hide the other one. I hate that. I neve buy cheap things anymore I have to hide. Leupolds not Tasco's. Brownings not Savages and Marlins. Get it? Life is too short for cheap beer and good gas milage.
