H&K 94 date code question
Hi, I own an H&K 94 A3, the date code on top says ID and the serial number is 26xx..can anyone tell me when this was made, for sure...I bought it from the original owner purchased it new in 1984 he thought and I have the warranty card he filled out that states this as well and the test target with the matching serial number dated 1983. Is this correct? I cant find any date code info anywhere. Feel free to email me: Chester52B@aol.com

My reference shows that the date code "ID" from the Ulm Germany Proof Facility represents 1983.
