Redfield Widefield's ?

Got a couple of them there the models before they changed this year got them at a good price. Traded one for a Leupold Vari-X II but was wondering how they handle recoil and if theres any other scope out there with a similar veiw type.

  Weaver also made a wide view model. I never heard of the Redfield Widefields not being able to handle recoil. The company had made scopes for hipower rifle use for many years before introducing the widefield models and would have had the expertise to design the widefields to handle recoil.

  I've got a couple of Redfield Widefield 2x7's that are at least 10 years old and they have worked perfectly on a couple of 308 semi-auto's for at least several hundred rounds each.
