Winchester Hotchkiss

Hello all. Did all Winchester Hotchkiss 1st Model rifles have serial numbers? I found one on the auction side that shows a serial number on top of the receiver, however was wondering if all the Winchester Hothckiss rifles had serial numbers stamped on them. Thanks, Brett.

  I have a Winchester Hotchkiss 1st Model carbine. The gun is missing the magazine cutoff/safety hardware. Anyone know of a gunsmith that can fix a hotchkiss or a place that has parts? Its a nice old gun and I'd like to get it 100% again.
