AIM Surplus is a good place to deal with. But, ammo has a special problem ---- it's weight may make shipping quite expensive, depending upon where you live. So, I look for sales that include "free shipping", or I buy from dealers at local gun shows.
Also, there's some bad ammo out there, so be sure you know what you are buying. Much of the "milsurp" ammo out there is neither "mil" nor "surp" --- just ammo for dollars. I like the Russian 7.62x39 softpoint hunting ammo. I don't recall seeing any .45 acp except the good US milspec white box hardball.
