Glock OD Green 2 shades?
I am in the market for a new Glock 27 and I have been looking at the OD Green models in the auctions. I have noticed two shades of green, Is this just the way the picture was taken or is there two shades? I prefer the darker of the two, can I order this?

One OD green color. Just the way the pics are.

I saw a couple od green glocks a few years ago, I swear the color looked like baby poop green.

Yes, OD green is two shades, but what i have noticed with the online pictures is that many of them are brighter then what the OD green glocks really look like. Another thing with OD green glocks is that I could not find one that was OD green and had factory night sites. The dealer said i could special order it but he didnt know how long that would take. The other option was installing my own night sites, just a little extra info.

The very 1st Glocks brought into the country were very dark OD, the US marketplace prompted the change to "black". The "fad" now is to offer the "colored" versions (ie all of the mfg. are doing it now !!). 0
