Value of a Colt revolver
Was wondering the value of a Colt revolver, it is a .38 cal. serial number 15306. On the handle it has a picture of a police officer pointing it at a man with a knife. It has never been reblued or anything, the only other thing I know is that my Dad's Grandpa carried it when he delivered potatoes in the early 1900's.

Although it would be best if you could provide pictures of your revolver. My WAG, from your description and serial number range is that your revolver is what's called the Colt "Cop and Thug" model. It's a quite desirable large, "Spur Trigger" revolver that dates to the 1880's. The motif of the "Cop and Thug" on the grips is quite unique, and only used on this low production, ( 4,000? ) model by Colt, as far as I know.
Without photos and/or a specific physical description it hard to assign a value. Flayderman values them between $525 & $2500, depending of course on condition and originallity.
