J. C. Higgins Ranger Pistol

I have a 51/ " bbl.,.22 caliber 9 shot revolver that my Dad bought in the mid fifties from Sears by mail order. It is the first pistol I ever fired, and has sentimental value beyond compare. The gun is a great shooter, and the nickel/chrome finish on the back strap is showing some wear. The pistol consists of 3 finishes blue barrell, cylinder, ejection rod shroud; parkerized frame and the chrome/nickel back strap, hammer and trigger. It recently developed a broken spring in the lockup mech. I think it was made by high standard but am not sure.

I am in Lumpkin, Georgia and there is not a local gunsmith in the area. Any help in the direction of finding a gunsmith for repairing this treasured revolver would be appreciated.
