does anyone have an idea what a ww2 1200 round unopened crate of Winchester .30 cal ammo be worth?? thanks

  Not much to a shooter; it's corrosive, & not many will want to fool with it.
  
  A few guys might want it for "display" or "collection", but you would need to determine how it is packed; i.e., 8 rd clips, cloth belt, bulk, etc. That should be stenciled on the box.

  Hello, 1200 rounds sounds like 2 Spam cans of 30 cal Carbine. It would not be corrosive if its Carbine, worth $200 to $400 ?
