Bennelli Nova Pump
I'm considering buying a Bennelli Nova Monday to carry in my patrol car. It's black parkerized , 18" with rifle sights with synthetic stock and foregrip. Price is $310.00 + tax. Anybody had any experience with these and is the price about right?

I have the Nova with the 28" barrel and its a fine shotgun and solid all around the board. I've never had anyproblems what so ever with mine and I've put it through a lot. It shoots anything from 2 3/4 up to 3.5" shells and shoots well. That price sounds very fair as they can sell for about $400 at some places (total price). The Nova is a very reliable gun and should serve you well as a duty weapon.

nash........One of my hunting buddies has a Nova. I have shot his and I was impressed.... very nice pump-gun.
One cool feature it has that the Rem 870 does not is you can do a select slug by pushing a button on the forearm when you pump it to empty the chamber without releasing a shell from the magazine. Thats a nice feature.

Thanks guys , I was actually looking for a Remington 870 but couldn't find one locally like I wanted and was turning towards the Bennelli. Luckily today I thought about a rep from a LE distributor out of Austin and he said he could help me out and have it shipped to my PD for not a whole lot more money.I do appreciate the replies though!
