Ruger 77/22 POI
Has anyone here experienced a low point of impact (POI) using a scope on these rifles? I now have had three 77/22s (two 22 mags and one 22LR) and they have all shot low using a scope and the supplied Ruger rings.

Yep! I had a 77/22 mag that shot so low I couldn't get it zeroed. I messed around with shims under one of the mounts that got it working OK, but Ruger asked to send it to them. I did. They sent me back a new rifle that was perfect. As it turns out, this rifle is my favorite 22 (I put a 3x9 Leupold Veri-XII on it)-- I carry it daily in my truck.
Whoever said the pen is mightier than the sword obviously never encountered automatic weapons.
