fn 49 stock 8mm/ 30 06 differance
I was wondering if anyone has any information on this subject
I have an FN 49 8mm that has a stock that has been alterd to say the least sarco has fn 49 stocks for the 3006 in stock i want to know if i can make this stock work i have compaird pictures and see that the 8mm has a cross bolt and the 3006 dosent i am perty handy in the shop can i do some fine tuneing to the 3006 stock and get it too work i realise that it still wont be back to original but it will be a lot better then what i have. I have sent both sarco and numrich who used to have them too e-mails asking this same question and got no response any info on this would be appreaceted

I believe you would be better served, as far as finding someone who has knowledge of FN 49 stocks, by posting to the MilSurp forums.
