can anyone please identify the model number of the scope pictured at the bottom of this page. it is an interesting concept and one that i may be interested in mounting on my 1911

according to the site it is made by tadco but i can find no menton of it on there web site.

if anyone has one and can tell me were to get one and how it performs (accuracy?, reliability?, Ruggeddness?)it would be appreciated

  srry for the mishap but once you go to that link go to the sidebar and click on the tasco button.

  Tasco has been out of business for 2 years. Bushnell bought their name only, not their plans, equipment, or products (or warranties). Anything that they had been planning to produce has vaporized.

  the sight pictured there is almos exactly what i want. . . a very small holo sight

  i think i have found the sight in question
  
  it ia in facta tasco optima red dot sight.
  
  there is one up for auction here on gunbroker

  there are lots of bases for these things but few of the actual sights listed so i guess they are hard to find

  Holo sight and a red dot sight are two different beast, a holo sight has no parallax, and does not produce the usual little halo of light that surrounds a red dot, they are far more superior than a red dot
