M1 Carbine Scope????

Does anyone know if they make a scope mount for M1 Carbine that Auto- Ordinance is making for Thompson?? I thought that I saw somewhere that there was a mount for the M1 Carbine but I sure as heck can't find where I saw it and then again it might have been for another maker. Any help would be appreciated.

  i know they used to make a mount for the carbine,the one i saw replaced the rear site if i remember correctly. i would do a web search for s&k instamount{i think that is the trade name of their military mounts}

  The best way to scope an M1 carbine is with a B-Square mount that clamps the barrel, & use a long eye relief scope like a Leupold M8-2X. The only mutilation required is cutting a slot in the handguard.

  I had one on mine that mounted in the rear sight dovetail, long time ago, but I'm pretty sure it was a B-Square.

  A 3x-9x on a carbine seems kinda ambitious; by the time the bullet gets to a target you'd need a 9x scope for, it would bounce off.
  Sportsmansguide.com has mil mounts, so does Cheaperthandirt.com and cdnninvestments.com.
