Info on Stevens Little Scout?

Hello, I inherited a Stevens 22LR rifle from my grandfather. It is a Little Scout model. Where can I find info about manufacturing data?

    There were two "Little Scout" models,as far as my resources tell me.

    No.14 Little Scout ..............NiB $200 Ex $95 Gd $50
    Caliber;.22 RF 18-inch bbl.One-piece slab stock readily distinguishes it from the No.14.5 that follows.Made 1906-1910

    No 14.5 Little Scout...............NiB $200 Ex $100 Gd.$75
    Rolling block.Takedown.Caliber;.22LR.18 or 20 inch bbl.Weight;2.75 lbs.Sights;open rear,blade front.Plain straight-grip stock,small tapered forearm.


    This was taken from the 2003 Gun Traders Guide

    Notice that the stock was the big difference.

    The 14 has a one-piece stock,where the 14.5 has a two-piece stock.

    I love the old Stevens stuff,but researching them can often be an excersize in frustration.[:(]

    The only thing I would add (according to Jim Perkins) is that the production run for the 14 1/2 began in 1910 and ran until 1932.
    Numbers produced is unavailable in everything I've ever read.
    Enjoy the "Little Scout," they're a great little rifle.

    Thank you....for sure I enjoy it as is the last gun my Grandpa left.....[;)]
