Wolf Ammo for Bolt Actions

I have read a lot of different opinions of the Wolf brand ammo here but this usually pertained to the problems or lack of problems with semi auto rifles.
Have any of you had problems with it in bolt action rifles.
If you have used it in this application what did or did you not like about it.
Was thinking of buying some on the cheap but wanted to hear from the those in the know before i commit.

    I shoot Wolf 7.62x54R out of my Mosin Nagant with POSP scope and it works fine other than being a little on the diry side. Accuracy has always been good and so has the reliability of the ammo.

    I have found it to be completely satisfactory for plinking and target shooting.

    TEX,I use the Wolf 7.62X39 in a Ruger M77 bolt action and it is very accurate at 100 yds. I use the polymer coated gray case. The older Wolf had a green case with a lacquer coating and I think it got hot and gummed up some semi-auto's. I have never had that problem in my SKS. I have never had a Wolf fail to fire.

    What size groups are you getting from the Ruger. I just bought one of these and am looking for a surplus ammo for it. It is down to Wolf or Cheetah. I had heard that the Ruger was using a .308 barrel chambered for 7.62x39 and that the Cheetah used .308 bullets but I dont have a clue.

    I use Wolf ammo in a 7.62X39 (HP's)CZ and a .223 (HP's)Weatherby Vanguard and hunt with it regularly. I have had excellent luck in all areas. Very few misfires...in fact no worse than PMC or Winchester. Groups from these rifles are only slightly larger than expensive ammunition... certainly adequate for hunting. I've also had good luck with Bernaul .223 162-grain soft points but sometimes that cartridge will not work well in a Ruger #1 or eject very well from an H&R or NEF... but for bolt actions including .30-06 loads that ammo is very good as well.

    I've been shootin' it in my NEF .223(only because a guy gave me a bunch of it).Haven't had a problem yet,but then I've only shot maybe 50-75 rounds through it.

    I also use it in my SKS(7.62x39).I've run several hundred rounds through it without a hitch.No FTF that I recall.Accuracy has impressed me too.The last time I had it out,my last 5-shot group was less than an inch at 100 yards w/the open sights.[^]
