Baking Dura-Kote in Oven.

Can I place the parts directly on the rack, or should I rig something that will "float" them in the middle?

I always suspend items to bake. I used a wire hanger. Bend to make a base, make it tall enough to hold the item.

Does the metal have to be sandblasted, or can it be sanded with emerycloth and degreased?
