STILL Need Info & Value on S&W 686-5 & 25-10

I need some help and additional info in determining a ball-park value of a Smith & Wesson Model 686-5. "Performance Center" is stamped on barrel) 357 cal with weights (removeable weights) in barrel shroud and has custom S&W case. It is my understanding that these were made in (or around) 2000 and most were shipped to Germany (for what ever reason), but some few were sold off in the US. That is all the info that I can dig up (no value given).

Also need help with info and determining a ball-park value of a Smith & Wesson Model 25-10 in .45 Colt also also a "Performance Center" Item and a limited produuction item (I was told).

I need any additional info available on this S&W Models and any help with possible values would be appreciated. Email is chammondjr@hotmail.com

ATF - Thanks for the info on the S&W web site. However, I tried your idea about going to that site to find more info, but that S&W web site requires that you have an email address "other than" Hotmail (which I use) or Yahoo. So since I use Hotmail that puts me out of luck in using that web site, but thanks anyway.

  You might want to do a Gunbroker "smart search" on these guns. It's unlikely you find exactly what you have, as there were many variations of PC guns, but it should get you close.

  You could look on {elsewhere}.com, too. I'd say $300 to a dealer, $400 or so to a private buyer, maybe a bit more if it's in mint condition and the guy really wants it.
