RCBS Dies

I just recieved a 260 die set that was missing the decapping pin. How do I determine if I need a headed or old style decapping replacement pin.

  I second what Snellstrom said. I have dealt with RCBS several times and they are always great on service. Give them a call.

  If it requires a straight pin, the holder will look sort of like a Jacob's drill chuck. The ones that use headed pins are flat under the retaining nut.

  If this is a 260 Rem wouldn't it just take the new style? Remington introduced this as one of their calibers only a few years ago. RCBS then followed suit. This was a while after they went to the newer style of decapping pin.
  I'm thinking you need to buy a large rifle flash hole pin(s)(they come in bags of five, regular or heavy duty). Verify with RCBS or your local dealer, but I'm pretty sure that's what you want.
