Need info on Comanche line of revolvers
I bought a Comanche III .357 Magnum revolver earlier this year from Firestorm-SGS (http://www.firestorm-sgs.com) which is, as best I can tell, the US distributor for Bersa-Llama Firearms.
As much crap as I have heard about Llama products, it is a fine stainless-steel revolver with a 6" barrel that I've experienced no problems with thus far and got for a friggin' song (~$250 NIB).
In any case, I've been trying to find some accessories for it, and since the revolver bears a remarkable similarity to the S&W 686, I tried some speedloaders and holsters for that, but that didn't work.
Furthermore, there's documentation about the Comanche line of pistols by Llama, but this was apparently a long discontinued variation of the one currently offered since the frame is shaped entirely different.
There's pretty much nothing specifically available for the Comanche line, even on the Internet. Repeated calls to the Firestorm-SGS customer service to inquire about whether they can offer suggestions as to accessories has proven nothing except the receptionist knows nothing about guns and her boss doesn't work in the same building as her. She entertained a guess the pistols were made "somewhere in Spain" and I should try and call them.
Any comments or ideas on what I've got here?

Update: Further investigation has shown them to be made by an Argentine company called Rexio. Apparently they're a small-time deal and almost their entire business is done in-country, since they don't have a working website and any references to their company is invariably on a South-American gun mag website.
Firestorm-SGS does import the Comanche line from them, but they also import the Bersa-Llama Firestorm automatic, and didn't see fit to list any manufacturer info on their website (hence my confusion between the old Llama Comanche and the Rexio Comanche).
Beyond that though, I'm stumped. Anybody speak conversational Spanish and want to dial long distance?0 -
I think Llama Comanche Revolvers are fine. Not the same with it entire line. Rexio is real crap no matter which gun....even worst than Hi Point, Jennings...A real Saturday Night Special or Junk Gun!
I am not sure about the relation between Llama (Spain) and Rexio (Argentine).

I don't think it's possible for a gun to be worse quality than Jennings and still fire. Hi-Point doesn't deserve to be lumped into that category, if for no other reason than their carbines can and do perform more or less reliably if "tweaked" and cleaned very well, whereas a Jennings is a boat anchor regardless of what you do to it.
This revolver is not a Llama Comanche, as I added. It's most definitely made by Rexio, though it is solid stainless steel (that much is obvious) and seems to be quite ruggedly constructed. I've already put a fair amount pretty hot loads downrange with no signs of trouble.0 -

There is none, other than they both made at some point a Comanche revolver. They are completely different guns and do not share any parts.
Have you tried a speed loader for a Colt?

Enjoy the "Rexio Comanche", then sell, trade and/or add it to your growing collection.
I had a "Llama Comanche" similar to "ATF's", great gun, but I prefer my "Astra Terminator" in .44 caliber.0 -
Hello,
The Comanche revolver currently marketed by Firestorm-SGS is different from the REXIO brand revolver. The parts do not interchange, and the REXIO guns are not covered under the Comanche warranty.
