CLEO signature for FFL?

I will be opening a new gunshop in another city. My question is about the CLEO signature for FFL. Do I need to have the signature of the CLEO of my hometown or the city in which my shop will be located?

    Neither. Cleo does not need to sign off on FFL applications. You will need to give them a copy of your application though. That should be given to the CLEO in the community in which you are opening the shop.

    I agree with Mooseyard, but have had exceptional encounters when turning in instead of sending in my notification. Both towns I've lived in with the C&R licenses' CLEO's were pleasantly surprised that I would take the time to bring it in personally. As a result, I get to go with the local boys from time to time and get free range time as a result of the association. Aside from that, they don't seem at all concerned with what I own or shoot; just a bunch of the guys (and the occasional girl!) hanging out having a good time. Having said that, all you have to do is send in the notification to your CLEO.
