Colt Huntsman feeding problem
I have an as new Colt Huntsman that fails to feed 100% of the time except for CCI Stingers with which it is 100% reliable. It seems that all brands of ammo enter the chamber and get stuck with the nose against the top of the chamber and the case wedged into the ramp. Chamber and ramp look smooth and are clean. The stingers measure a tad longer than all other ammo and feed slick as a whistle. Clip looks as new. But I bet a little tweek on something will fix it but I don't know what to do. I don't want to shoot it much with stingers as I fear excessive wear and they are expensive to plink with. My hunch is to open the "lips" at the rear of the clip a little. Whats the right thing to do?

before you mess with the original clip, buy a replacement or borrow one and see if it fixs it. you might also try your clip in a different gun and see what happens. 0 -
Good advice. You can pick up a factory new magazine from Cabela's for $20. You are going to need a second anyway. 0
