winchester 30.06
I'm new here. great sight.I thinking about buying a win. lightwieght 30.06 model 70 with a laminated stock. I'm told its about 20 years old it looks like it has not hardly been used. He wants $400.00 for it. Just wondering if its worth it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Does it come with a scope?
If so,and it's a decent scope,not bad at all.If not,then it's not a steal,but still a decent deal.

It has a simmons 3 x 9. Im not to sure how good it is. 0 -
[8D]Just a remimder dblmain-If you've shot 30-06 before, then you know their inherent recoil! If this is a lightweight (OWWW)of course if it's been shot with the Simmons and still maintains zero, then the combo sounds OK-just be prepared for practice trouble[:(][:(][}:)][:D]

There are 30.06 loads for everything ... even down to prarie dawgs and squirels[:)] Have fun with your new gun! 0 -
And dont forget they now also have the low recoil loads.

ive been looking for info about this gun and I can not seem to find much on the internet. I cant even find another one for sale. Did they not make very many. Ill have to check into those low recoil loads. 0 -
