Refresh my memory of Makarovs.
Seems I should know the anwser to this question. Is 9x18 amo the same as .380ACP? Can you convert a Mak to .380 without too much difficulty? And finally, Who has the best deals on a Mak? Looking for a cheap truck handgun.

NO The 9x18 mak is a .364" dia bullet. You can change the barrel and make it a .380. 0 -

I agree...".364 vs. ".355 for the other 9mm's. And again, I agree, why bother with the 380 when the 9x18 does a bit more at around the same cost for ammo? Additionally, the 9x18 is starting to be produced in a dizzying array of hollowpoint loads made in Russia, and it is ALL good in my experience!
