shooting factory ammo, what would be the hottest load in .22 LR?

  no, actually the aguila brand makes ammo that goes 1750fps i think? i do kow that they make the fastest 22 ammo, but it doesnt mean it will do good in ur 22. i baught a $10 box of 22lr ammo (target ammo) for my dads henry and we were shooting like 3 inch groups with it. if i use cheap winchester dynapoints i can shoot a dime at 50 yards. make sense??? no. just the way it is

  yep. just checked. aguila super maximum (hyper velocity) its a 30 grain coppered hollow point. 1750fps. around $23 for 500 rounds. im going to try some of these the remington yellow jackets are hyper vel. that are about the only things that work in my 22 semi auto. but the shape of the rems. sometimes make them jam up.
