Shotgun help

I have a shotgun that I can not figure anything out about. The only thing it says is MADE IN SPAIN "VOLUNTEER" FOR BLUMENFELD CO. When you break it over it is stamped MUNDIAL AND THE S/N IS 129837. It also has several other stamps. I am trying to figure those stamps out right now. It is a 16 gauge chambered in 3".

    I am in search of a good shotgun for home protection and trap shooting. I want a very good name and dependable semi-auto. The only problem is I know absolutely nothing about shotguns. I am more of a "handgunner" but am interested in trap shooting. I am willing to pay a little more to get a good firearm.

    If you want a good trapgun,get a gun that is designed for trap.They are stocked differently to shoot higher as clays are alwasy rising in trap....unless you wait too long.

    get 2 guns, one for home defense and one for trap.
    defense guns are short bbls for tight areas, and trap guns have long bbls. visit your local gun dealer and ask him to fit you up with 2 nice guns.
    a defense gun should be around 250.00.
    a good trap gun should be around 500.00.

    berettausa.com for a possible trap gun, and take the advise and get one built for trap.
    home defense....depends what you're looking for, I have a baikal bounty hunter II... sxs, 12 gauge, rabbit ears, 20 inch barrels and can be used for cowboy action shooting

    if the money isn't there for 2 guns then I would suggest getting a Remington 1100 field with 28" barrel(vent rib , screw in choke tubes ) for shooting trap and get a short 18 to 21" barrel for in the home , it only takes about a minute to change the barrels ,
    granted the 1100 field is not the best for trap but you sure can get started that way and pick up a full trap gun later on
