Holster for the Taurus Tracker .357

Looking for a holster for a Taurus Tracker? Anyone know who may make one for the Tracker or what holster the Tracker will fit in?

    Best bet would be to match the Tracker to the closest frame equivalent in a Smith and Wesson. Without seeing the gun it might be an K L or N frame. You can also email most of the main holster companines. Give them the barrel length as well.

    I purchased an IWB holster from AJConcealco for my Tracker 425 .41 Magnum. Due to some personal issues, production was backlogged and I had to wait 4 months before I received it. However, I am very pleased with the quality, workmanship and price, and will make future purchases from him.

    Thanks...I will do a little more legwork...I was hoping for an easy fix. Looks like I will take the Tracker with me to the next gun show and visit the holster tables...

    I got my holster for my .357 Tracker from El Paso Saddlery. I think that they make their holsters by hand. I know that when you order them online, they don't have the usual drop down menu where you select your make/model, but rather you actually type it in like an e-mail, with your barrel length. If you find a holster that isn't specifically made for the Tracker, it should be for an L-Frame S&W. I know that for speedloaders, the S&W L-Frame 686-Plus ones work in them. Hope this helps.

    4D's: You didn't mention the barrel length of your Tracker so it's kinda difficult know just what you need. Here's a link to Uncle Mike's (Michael's of Oregon) that may help, depending on the style/material you're looking for. I have several UM's cordura holsters and I like them. As a matter of fact, I have my .17HMR 8 3/8" bbl. TRACKER in an Uncle Mike's holster--I went to my local gunshop and pointed out the gun I had and asked the guy to match me up with a holster. Same will work at a gunshow, no doubt, but be careful of some of those gun show "holster" tables...often cheap imitations of the better brands. [;)]

    What's the model number? Are you looking for concealed carry? Try www.hiddenarms.com if so. My sister just started her own holster company. Her holsters are similar to the kangaroo but with extra features that make it more stable and comfortable. Plus places for: ID, money, extra ammo and there's a retaining strap for the gun.
