Yes, that was a factory issue model. Not many were made. The problem is, they take a special 20 round mag (different follower), but most owners still report they don't feed reliably.

There was a compay making a custom gun that took AK mags. It was kinda ugly and I dont think it was real cheep either. If you do a web search you can probably find it. They had a little add in Shootgun News for awhile.

Colt started making them about 10 years ago... a standard AR15 mag will feed 8 762x39 rounds. 0 -
You're better off sticking to the .223/5.56 in the AR-15. Just buy yourself a decent AK clone for 1/3 the cost in 7.62x39mm and have fun.
